# Notifications

> Email alerts for new leads and leads who ring you back.

Desk can email your team when something needs action. Each email links straight to the lead in Desk.

## What you can be told about

| Email | When it's sent |
| - | - |
| **New lead: \{name}, \{place}** | As soon as we deliver a new lead. |
| **\{name} rang back · answered by your team** | A lead rang your Desk number back and someone answered. |
| **\{name} rang back and nobody could answer** | A lead rang back and the call was missed. Call them now. |

Each email is sent once for each thing that happens. If a lead is later revised you won't get a second email, and leads loaded in bulk from the past don't trigger alerts.

If your organisation uses [teams](/account/teams-and-roles), you can be set up to hear about one team's leads only.

## Turning notifications on or off

Notifications are set up by Pockla for now. Email [support@pockla.com](mailto:support@pockla.com) with the addresses that should get each alert, and the team, if any.
