# Missed-call texts

> Send a lead a short text when you can't get through.

  Missed-call texts are available only where Pockla offers them for your account. If you don't see the setting, it isn't available to you.

A lead who sees a missed call from an unknown number often won't call back. A short text saying who called and why makes it much more likely they'll answer next time.

## Turning it on

Go to **Settings → Texts to your leads** and turn on **Text a lead when you can't get through**. The setting shows a sample of the exact text a lead will get.

Team leads and admins can change this setting. Everyone else can see it.

## The rules

Texts are only sent within these limits, whatever you log:

* between **9 AM and 8 PM**
* **once a day at most** to any lead
* **never** after you've spoken to them
* **never** to a landline

The text comes from a mobile number and goes out after an unanswered call. When a text will be sent, the call bar and log sheet say "Morag will get a text".

## Seeing texts

Texts show on the lead's timeline as **From us · Text**, with whether they were delivered. The **Last from us** column on Leads shows when we last texted each lead.
