# Signing in

> Desk access is by invitation. Sign in with a one-time code sent to your work email.

## Getting access

Desk is invite-only. The person who runs your account with Pockla adds you to your organisation, and then you can sign in with your work email.

If you sign in and see **No organisation yet**, you haven't been added yet. Ask that person to add you, or contact [support@pockla.com](mailto:support@pockla.com).

## Sign in with a code

    Go to [desk.pockla.com](https://desk.pockla.com), type your **Work email** and choose **Email me a code**.

  <Step title="Open the email">
    We send you a six-digit code and a sign-in button.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Type the code and choose **Sign in**. Or press the button in the email; it opens a page on Desk with a single **Sign in** button.

<Tip>
  The email button doesn't sign you in until you press **Sign in** on the page it opens. That means a company email scanner that opens links in advance won't use up your code.

### If your link has expired

Codes and links work once and expire after a short time. If you see "That sign-in link has expired or has already been used", go back to the sign-in page and ask for a new code.

## Sign in with a password

Some accounts use a password instead of a code. Choose **Sign in with a password instead** on the sign-in page.

Passwords are set by Pockla, not in Desk. To get one or reset one, contact [support@pockla.com](mailto:support@pockla.com).

## Signing out

Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Sign out**.
