Today is where Desk opens. Its title is the date, and its summary line gives the day’s headline numbers, for example “12 transfers · 9 billable · 7 real conversations”. While you have it open, the page refreshes itself once a minute.

Up next

If your team calls leads, Today starts with your queue. It’s called Up next if you call from Desk, and Waiting on your team if your CRM reports back to us instead. The queue has four sections: When the queue is empty you’ll see “Nothing to call” or “Every lead has had its call”, along with when the next callback is due. See Up next and Call next for how the queue picks the next lead.

If you receive calls

Scorecard

Four headline figures for the day, such as the value of business enrolled from our calls against your target, and the number of transfers. The scorecard follows the period you’ve picked and any filters you’ve set.

Worth hearing

Three calls from the day, chosen by rule rather than at random:
  • the longest real conversation
  • the call that came closest to a close
  • the call carrying the day’s most common objection
Press play on any of them to listen without leaving the page.

Why calls ended

The day’s calls grouped by how they finished. Press a group to filter the page to those calls.

Today’s note

On days when we’ve reviewed your calls, our written review appears here. It covers what happened, what we found, and one thing we need from you. Reply to it by email from the note itself. Earlier reviews are kept in Saved reviews.

Every call

Every call of the day, in the order it happened. It’s the same table as Calls.

If you receive leads

You get the lead scorecard: the three figures you chose in Settings → Panel. Below it is the day’s list, under Delivered today or Every lead. If no leads arrived on the day you’re viewing, Today tells you the most recent day that had some.

How these figures are put together

At the bottom of Today there’s a section called How these figures are put together. It explains each figure on the page:
  • which window it covers
  • what counts towards it, and what it’s divided by
  • how fresh the data is
  • what happens when a call or lead is revised later
Read it if a number ever looks surprising.
